Teresa Goforth arrived at Cue with a once-in-a-generation story and no infrastructure to tell it. At 75, she and her 20-year-old Quarter Horse, Little Lenas Solano — known as Maverick — had qualified for both The Run For A Million Non Pro Challenge and the AQHA Select World Show in Reining, representing 95 combined years of grit and partnership. Together, we built a full PR campaign from the ground up: scripting and coordinating a professional video shoot, securing national media placements, and placing her story in front of the audiences that needed to hear it most — right as she was competing on the biggest stages in the sport.

The Shift That Mattered Most

Teresa's story was always extraordinary. What it needed was a stage. From a scripted and produced ranch video that captured the quiet power of a 75-year-old competitor and her horse, to placements in the publications and podcasts the equine world actually reads and listens to — every piece of the campaign was built to let the story do its own work. It did.

The response across the equine and western women's communities made clear that Teresa wasn't just competing. She was giving permission to every woman who thought her best ride was behind her.
